Lights, Camera, Action!

Just back to work after a week staying at home. As we're selling the house there is a lot to organise once the deal goes through. It's good that we're very low on work for the time being. I might need to take another week off early next month. A relaxing week off with lot to catch up on TV, the Slumdog Musical Oscar, Champion League knock-out first leg matches. Arsenal is leading 1-0 at home to Roma, their first win after a frustrating run of results in the Premier League. Arsenal's chances of finishing in the top four looks bleak following a fourth consecutive 0-0 draw at home to Fullham. My disappointment was rescued by a couple of better than average movies, Taken starring Liam Nelson and 21 whose supporting cast includes Lawrence Fishburn and Kevin Spacey. The Oscar ceremony is boring to watch, thank God it only lasted a bit over two hours. The winners were so predictable it took a no-brainer to figure out who would be delivering the thank-you note. Well done Slumdog Millionaire...

Vietnam to “hit the switch” for Earth Hour on March 28

There's no need for the call from environmentalists. Blackouts usually last more than one hour in Vietnam. Environmental awareness is part of the fact of life for all Vietnamese people. Wonder why this piece of news is not available in the Vietnamese language section... I have no doubt that everyone over there is in need of a laugh right now.
