I was driving my son to the DVD shop one night, waiting to do a right turn onto the main road. There was a car approaching, I noted to the boy "Look, there is nobody driving that car". As my son realised there was an African man behind the wheel of that car, he turned to me and said "You're racist Dad". The fact that it was not the first time he heard a racist joke makes me wonder if in my son's eye, I would be the last person on earth who is capable of making such jokes.
